Northstar Canoes pioneered the use of arched seat drops. Arched drops work like a bridge to prevent seat sway. Over time seat sway will damage gunwales and ruin seats.
Take care of your canoe by replacing your dowels with arched drops.
Northstar kneeling drops are canted slightly forward allowing you to comfortably kneel. Drops are drilled 8″ on center.
