Beyond the Launch: Making Safe Decisions on the Water - An in Person Course led by Kelly McDowell.

Being prepared can make all the difference on the water. Join us for this free paddling safety seminar as we discuss how to assess conditions, dress for cold water, choose essential safety equipment, and plan safer trips. We'll also cover common causes of paddling emergencies and demonstrate practical self-rescue and assisted rescue techniques for kayaks and canoes.

Whether you're new to paddling or have years of experience, this session will help you build confidence and make informed decisions every time you launch.
