Northstar Northwind 17 Stealth Carbon Canoe

NorthStar’s most popular tandem tripper. Remarkably maneuverable, yet reassuringly stable. Known to be the most seaworthy, yet fast, canoe available. When other canoes are wind-bound you’ll enjoy the thrill of playing in the waves. This canoe comes outfitted with a Carbon and Black Innegra hull, as well elegant E6 carbon gunwales with integrated carbon end decks; E6 carbon web seats hung on walnut drops; E6 carbon thwarts; stem mounted tie down loops.  We do not recommend E6 trim for whitewater.

Stealth:

Carbon and Black Innegra co-woven outer with inner blanket of proprietary yellow and black aramid. Northstar's lightest lamination at the expense of some durability, a dream for wet footed portaging. Only available with E6 trim and E6 parts: canoe weights reflects E6/E6 savings. Stealth is lighter than StarLite and has lower impact resistance. Weight savings and wet footed portaging go hand in hand.
