Rental Bookings come standard with Paddle(s), PFD(s), Safety Kit, Car-top Transport Kit

Single-day rentals are based on The Complete Paddler’s retail hours, not a 24-hour period. You can find our current store hours here. Rentals must be picked up and dropped off during these business hours.

Drop-Off Time:
All rental equipment must be returned at least one hour before closing on the same day, unless you’ve arranged for a multi-day rental in advance.

Cleaning & Damage Fees:
Please return all rented gear in clean condition. A $10 cleaning fee will apply to any equipment returned dirty.
Any damaged or lost gear will incur a damage fee, assessed at the time of return based on the condition of the equipment.

The Workhorse of the Canadian north, the Prospector 16’ feels most at home loaded with gear on a remote wilderness lake or river. While it is best suited for river tripping, it remains versatile enough to be a good all round canoe. With experience, the self-righting aspects of the shallow arch hull will become apparent and confidence levels will soar. It also provides a very dry ride in big waves. It is simply the best all round wilderness tripping canoe available.
